SNAP enables CCTV operators to track targets from camera to camera around even the largest CCTV networks.

Snap automatically works out how the field of view of a camera overlaps with another camera, or is close by. It does this for every camera on the network. So now if you want to follow an incident from camera to camera, Snap tells you where to go next. You don't need to have any local knowledge of where cameras are. No matter how many cameras – even thousands – using Snap makes it easy. So now you can move with speed and certainty to follow someone around a network.

HOW WAS SNAP CREATED?
The commercial result of 15 man-years from the Australian Centre for Visual Technologies (ACVT) which is based within the University of Adelaide. With 40 experts in computer vision, the R&D resources are significant.
